DENROB’S DANCING QUEEN (Emma)
How can I describe Emma?
Gentle, kind, protective, hates arguments, never uses her teeth in self defense. Oh I could go on about this little girl. She is the apple of my eye and definitely top dog here. She rules over the other chows, even the men and easily puts them in their place.
Despite her size she can definitely hold her own in play. She never bites though. Not the other dogs, not anyone or anything. Emma is a wrestler. When a disagreement arises, she “wrestles” the antagonist to the ground. She never growls or bears her teeth.
She obviously protects what she sees as hers and no one will change that.
Otherwise I can quite honestly say I really do not know she is here.
She prefers her own company a lot of the time, only joining in to play. Mind you she is definitely there, when the mood takes her for a healthy scratch on the bum (flanks mainly), now that is her joy.
Emma is favorite I think purely because she is the last link I have to her mum Molly. Perhaps unfair to the others, but I ALWAYS make sure affection is widely available to all. There is definitely no jealousies. They all get the same.
I would describe her as “definitely mysterious”. She is the worlds greatest thinker before she acts.
She is a joy to behold and a joy to have here with us. What else can I say?
She has had just the two puppies in her lifetime, a little lady called Sue, (Denrob’s One Of A Kind), and later in her lifetime a son called Barney (Denrob’s Rambo In Red).
We have had many enquiries about future pups from Emma, but sadly we cannot ever envisage her ever having any more unless nature does indeed take it’s course and more arrive, it’s up to her - and NO way will we ever FORCE the issue upon her.
Many breeders, in 2008, offered their stud dogs as suitable partners for Emma, and whilst they were certainly qualified for the position, we have NEVER taken any up.
Emma certainly is one of a kind, like her daughter.
We are SO lucky she is here with us.
